Biography
Joe is a litigator who focuses primarily on patent, trade secret, and licensing disputes. He has worked on cases involving a wide array of technology, from concrete retaining wall blocks to complex optical, telecommunications and medical equipment. Joe was an integral member of the CCVL trial team that recently won a $24 Million verdict for its client after a month-long trial involving six patents. He was also actively involved in another multi-million dollar CCVL trial win in a case concerning cardiovascular stent manufacturing technology.
In addition to litigation work, Joe advises his clients on patent portfolio management. He also conducts patent infringement and validity studies.
Since 2007, Joe has consistently been named a “Rising Star” in Minnesota Law & Politics magazine.
