Minneapolis (1/1/2008) - Carlson, Caspers, Vandenburgh & Lindquist congratulates Brian Hayes and Tara Norgard on being named partners to the firm.
Brian received his J.D. from Harvard Law School in 1999 and concentrates his practice on patent and copyright litigation, particularly in the pharmaceutical, chemical, computer software and hardware industries. Brian is CCVL's first associate joining CCVL in January of 2003 and was recently named a "Rising Star" by the Minnesota Law & Politics Magazine.
Tara's practice focuses on intellectual property matters involving patents, trademarks, trade secrets, unfair competition, and related issues. She represents a wide variety of clients, including medical device companies, hedge funds, and manufacturers of consumer goods. Tara is also active with the Minnesota Chapter of the Federal Bar Association where she currently serves on the Executive Committee and Board of Directors and is also the 2007-08 chair of the FBA's Communications Committee. Since 2005 Tara has been named a "Rising Star" by the Minnesota Law & Politics Magazine.
